I know what it feels like to want the outside to finally match the person you feel like on the inside.
I built Mirror Mirror to be a place where you don't have to know the right hair words, follow every trend, or even walk in perfect: You just have to tell me how you want to feel.
I have spent years behind the chair, investing in science, and chemistry, added a whole lot of listening, creativity and (probably) an inappropriate amount of enthusiasm to make sure I could accomplish my goals of giving you yours. Subtle change or full blown vivid, my job is to understand you first and make your hair fit from there.
I have literally been called a Unicorn.
If I am not at the studio, you will find me with Jerry, our ridiculous collection of furry creatures, and iced coffee and a kindle or finding new whimsy to obsess over.
My whole thing? A little hair science, a little magic and making sure you feel like the fucking Main Character in your own damn story!

She really takes the time to get to know you and your style, and made the entire experience so much fun! I adore Ashley at Mirror Mirror! She is so personable and professional. Her salon is such a comfortable environment and really enjoyable. My last cut I got to watch Twilight while she worked away and I got snacks and a Diet Coke, what a dream! I have very thick hair and she lighten my hair while keeping the style perfect. My hair always feels so healthy after seeing her. If you are looking for a hair stylist in CLT I highly encourage making an appointment!

I get so excited when I know an appointment I have is coming up for my hair. She dyes my hair different every single time and just has fun with the colors. When I say that we literally make up things to inspire the colors I am serious. Canna Lillys, sunsets etc... It's always a pleasure to go and spend time here. My advice for a new customer here is to have good movie taste and really enjoy the time with Ashley because she's already going to 10/10 your head but you have to be willing to have fun and not obsess over the process.

Start with what you’re craving—not what you think you’re “supposed” to book. Choose the session that feels closest to your hair goals, and if you're not completely sure, that's okay. We'll figure out the details together.
02 — The Prologue
This is where we talk. Tell me what you love, what you hate, what hasn't worked before, what your actual mornings look like, and how you want your hair to feel. Photos, Pinterest boards, vague hand gestures and “I don't know, just more ME” are all welcome.
03 — The Plot Unfolds
Now the hair magic happens. I'll use a little science, a lot of experience, and a plan built specifically around your hair—while keeping its health at the center of every decision. You get to relax, read, chat, watch something, or just exist while I do my thing.
04 — Main Character Moment
We finish with hair that feels like you, plus the knowledge to actually recreate it at home. I'll walk you through what I used, how to style it, and what your maintenance looks like so there are no mysterious cliffhangers.
